Denny Boyd
Denny grew up on the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan near a small town named Muskegon. After completing both a B.B.A. in Marketing (1995) and a M.A. in Higher Education Administration (1998) at Western Michigan University, he worked in Residence Life for three years before moving to Denver in 2001.
Since his big move to Colorado, Denny worked at Metropolitan State University of Denver for 16 years and Regis University for 6 years prior to joining the Office of Graduate Studies team here at Mines.
Denny believes that going to college literally saved his life and he is passionate about helping students be successful. When not at work, Denny enjoys spending time with his 2 dogs (Burton & Samantha), cooking delicious food for his chosen family, playing outdoors and making watercolor art.
