Meet Josephine

Graduate Program Specialist

A Northern California native, Josephine is a first-generation, post-traditional college graduate. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her professional background is deeply rooted in student success and enrollment management, having previously served as the Assistant Director of Enrollment at the University of Denver and as a Graduate Recruiter and Scholar Programs Coordinator at Mines.

Outside of her professional work, Josephine is a dedicated lifelong learner with a passion for languages. She speaks French, is improving in Spanish and is currently studying Italian and Chinese (Mandarin).

Her interests include paleography and conducting independent research on non-Anglo European immigration patterns surrounding WWII. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading and exploring the Colorado outdoors.
